We were into a good situation on a regular basis. That's all anyone could reasonably ask for. Execution and timing are critical things that no one has much real control over. I have been on over 100 guided hunts in my lifetime and have probabaly killed more public land bull elk than anyone. In my opinion there just aren't very many good guides out there. Especially elk guides!! I have known Mike Jenkins since 1997 and have hunted with him several times when he was manager of Lakeview Guest Ranch in Montana. I can say that I would hunt with Mike and Upfront Outfitters anytime. He is truly one of the great elk guides in the business.
